Client: Peter & Hannah
Location: St. James’s Terrace, St John’s Wood, NW8
Type of Project: House Renovation, Remodelling, house Extensions, Basement Conversion
Architectural Designer: APT Renovation
Our client wanted us to do a full house renovation in their St John’s Wood home, as well as a basement conversion. They also wanted to increase the capacity of their property through remodelling and extensions.
For this property, we fitted beautiful oak white flooring and reconfigured much of the ceiling to change the shape and add new lighting. Our joinery crafted a number of bespoke fittings throughout the property, including the doors, windows and storage units. We created a stunning open-plan kitchen with a glossy white finish, and a tailor-made breakfast bar, with state of the art lighting hanging just overhead.
Bedrooms were given a complete makeover, with ceiling lights combining with soft tones in the paintwork and the carpets to create a very cozy ambience. We carried out a basement conversion of one of the bedrooms, making sure to maximise as much space as possible.
The cupboards and bedside tables were also key additions to the bedrooms. For one of the bathrooms, we went for a luxurious marble finish, and installed sliding glass doors, while the other bathroom was designed in a more trendy Nordic style.
